Ani DiFranco is a singer/songwriter, social activist and author. In the early 90s, she started her own record label, Righteous Babe Records, and has ever since embraced DIY ideals to release the music she wants to release and how she wants to release it. I had the opportunity to design a book full of her songs, never-before-seen photos and stories to accompany the release of a new documentary, 1-800-ON-HER-OWN, which tells her story.
